China Glaze - Blue Sparrow

I was really excited when I layed my hands on this China Glaze polish! It's called 'Blue Sparrow', a blue neon colour. This is my first China Glaze, so when it arrived at my home, I couldn't wait to put it on my nails!
When I put it on, I noticed it's a really thin and watery colour. It took 4 coats to get it opaque. But, it dries really quick and gives a matte effect, which I really like. However, the glitter in this polish is so much better with a shiny top coat!



But then, after a day of wearing this, it started chipping. AND HOW! Across the middle of my ring finger a stroke of polish was missing.. and at the edges it wasn't any better. Maybe this was because in my excitement I forgot the base coat. But even in my 'non base-coat using' period my polishes lasted a lot longer!
This polish is also hellish to take of bacause of the many glitters. Glittery polishes are always a bit difficult to take of your nails.

I still really adore the glitter in this polish. So I dicided to experiment with black nailpolish.



Here you can really see the matte finish of 'Blue Sparrow'. Ain't it nice?



And here I put on a top coat for a nice shine. I'm not shure wich one I like better..

It Blue My Mind

Maybe you remember, last time I bought two catrice polishes. 'Sold out Forever' was an amazing colour. But, this one may be even more amazing. You can say, it really 'blue my mind'!



'It Blue My Mind' is a mindblowing blue with a nice subtle shimmer. It's opaque in just one coat, but I'm wearing two because of the wear and the first coat had bubbles.

So far, I think Catrice polishes are great! Even more if you realize they cost just €2,99! Can't wait to try more..

Coming soon

Just placed an order at ASOS.com, including three new polishes. As soon as I saw they are selling Barry M nailpolish, there was no turnig back from spending some money.




What's coming:

Barry M - Pale Lemon Yellow
Yellow was on my wishlist, so why not? At ASOS, it states this colour is new. I couldn't really find a swatch via google so I'm gonna find out if it's any good.

Barry M - Pink Flamingo
I don't really like pink but it just can't be missing in my stash, right?

Other news: I hate me. I was so excited about the Barry M, I didn't look any further. And now, I found out they sell scented nailpolish from rimmel. Maybe I'll just place another order..
The Rimmel polishes are cheap if you compare it to normal prices here! I think they cost €6,99 and at ASOS you can buy a polish for €3,96.

Sold out forever

Today, I'm feeling terrible.. I have a cold and maybe even a fever.
Also, I'm watching my uncles house now and he lives really close to the shopping center in my city. So me and my boyfriend went for a short shopping spree to catch some air. All I bought was nailpolish xD

But what a polish! I think they just refilled all the polishes because everything was there. Even "Sold out forever"!



I love this colour <3 It applies very well an covers smoothly in 2 layers. It also has a little glitter in it which gives it just a little more dept.
You can see the glitter in this picture, where the light hits my middle finger.




Also, I finally bought a base coat! And I think it really helps for a smooth result. My base coat is a smoothening coat, also from Catrice. And I bought "It blue my mind". I'm guessing you already know the brand.. I'll be trying this one really soon!

Glazed

Yes, I admit it. I'm an addict.. To what? I hear you think. Well, lets say that I'm confronted with it when I look down. and at the moment it's brown with white frosting.

haha a chocolate cupcake? I wish.. maybe later I'll make some of those.
